Generac and Energy Systems Selected by California Rural Water Association to Join Preferred Provider Program

Generac to deliver world-class power solution to California’s water and wastewater communities

Generac Power Systems, Inc., (NYSE: GNRC) a leading global designer and manufacturer of energy technology solutions and other power products, and its west coast subsidiary, Energy Systems, today announced that they have been selected by California Rural Water Association (CRWA) to join the association’s exclusive Preferred Provider Program.
As a member of CRWA’s Preferred Provider Program, Generac and Energy Systems are able to provide preferred pricing packages on Generac’s products and services to the more than 1,000 water and wastewater members of CRWA. Through the program, CRWA members also receive unique access to training programs focused on backup power for water and wastewater facilities through Generac and Energy Systems.

Generac and Energy Systems were selected to become a CRWA Preferred Provider due to Generac’s full range of energy technology products, technologies and services, as well as Energy Systems’ ability to provide unparalleled service and support to CRWA members across all corners of California – an important need due to the critical nature of services offered by California’s rural water and wastewater facilities.

As a leader in backup power for the water treatment industry, Generac has a growing portfolio of advanced energy technology solutions specifically designed for water and wastewater facilities, including industry-leading power generation equipment, monitoring and control platforms, clean energy equipment, and grid services platforms. These technologies allow users to engage local utility programs, creating added resilience and generating new revenue streams. With all of this under one roof, Generac is uniquely positioned to be a trusted advisor to the rural water community and deliver solutions previously only targeted towards large municipal systems.

“CRWA always strives to provide the best resources to our member and non-member systems. We’re excited about our partnership with Generac and Energy Systems,” said Dustin Hardwick, deputy director of California Rural Water Association. “Their ability to deliver the latest advancements in power generation and energy technologies to our water systems and their customers is of critical importance in the ever-changing energy landscape. We appreciate their commitment to our rural water community.”

“Generac and Energy Systems have been a long-time supporter and key service provider for the CRWA and its members,” said Pete Jacobs, President of Energy Systems. “We’re excited for this opportunity to join this exclusive program. We look forward to delivering the latest power generation equipment, energy technologies and world-class service to these critical water and wastewater agencies.”
