Infrared Thermography
Thermal imaging is simply the process of converting infrared (IR) radiation (heat) into visible images that depict the spatial distribution of temperature differences in a scene viewed by a thermal camera. Thermal Imaging allows our technicians to visualize and quantify changes in the surface temperature of electrical equipment. It’s recommended to have a thermal imaging scan on your electrical equipment; switchgear, transfer switch, and breakers on an annual basis to get in front of potential hazards such as insulation breakdown or poor connections.

Load Bank Testing
Only running a generator under load will determine if the generator set performs when it’s needed the most. A load bank is used to test the generator’s ability to operate within the specifications set forth by the specific manufacturer. Load bank will test the operation and integrity of the generator operating system, verify the functionality of the cooling system, and burn off excess carbon deposits caused by lightly loaded generators. All ES load bank testing meets the specifications set forth by NFPA – 110. ES has various options to meet your load bank testing needs.
Fuel Services
Often overlooked, and thus one of the main reasons generators fail to start or operate properly during a power outage is contaminated diesel fuel. Contaminates like water, sand, rust, and sludge clog fuel filters and ruin injectors, causing engines to stall, smoke, and not produce power. ES offers diesel fuel polishing. Fuel polishing can be done as a stand-alone service or combined with an annual maintenance visit. Fuel polishing will circulate the fuel from the bottom of the tank through filters, removing water and sediment and returning the clean fuel to the tank.
