Generator Wireless Technician

Job Summary: As a Generator Technician you will be responsible for the scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of standby power equipment at Commercial and Telecommunication sites. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain engines used in standby power equipment such as electric generators and industrial machinery. Diagnose trouble, disassemble engines and examine parts for defects and excessive wear. Candidate must have basic knowledge of electricity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school Diploma
Experience:
- Willing to work nights and weekends on a rotating on-call team to respond to emergency calls 24/7.
- Valid current driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards required.

HVAC Wireless Technician

Job Summary: The HVAC Wireless Technician will work in the Connecticut area and perform field service maintenance and emergency repairs on telecommunication and data center HVAC equipment. The equipment consists of Marvair and Bard wall mount units, Carrier, Trane, Goodman residential split systems, McLean outside cabinet units and outside air economizer systems. Must have knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to troubleshoot and service commercial equipment under 10 tons.

- Lead role for public bid opportunities; interpreting plans and specifications, generating proposals, and customer follow-up.
- Use online services and daily web searches to identify opportunities, entering findings in CRM
- Create and maintain records for all opportunities to include company bid calendar
- Obtain quotes from third party vendors and review for accuracy
- Field customer calls, inquiries, and RFQs
- Communicate with customers, engineers, outside sales, and management
- Assist in sales functions to include calling on customers and attending seminars and presentations

Service Coordinator

Job Summary: The Service Coordinator facilitates the proactive service maintenance philosophy to Energy Systems. customers and expedites pre and post-maintenance activities to ensure smooth delivery and the best customer care experience. Through key business processes, the Service Coordinator interacts with various internal departments and 3rd party subcontractors for a seamless service, support and delivery structure.
JOB DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary contact for all assigned accounts, existing and new, utilizing in house resources and subcontractors.
- Understands customer expectations and communicates with customers frequently.
- Coordinates Preventive Maintenance and Reactive Work with customers, managing all follow up activity until resolved.
- Manages customer expectations out to subcontractors and make sure we are receiving timely scheduling updates, service reports and invoices. Will also enter all surveys into the Company’s business systems as required.
- Manages customer portal updates and tracking templates.
- Manages proactive and reactive service estimates for active customers regularly.
- Produces reports for assigned customers and management as requested.
- Monitor company email and other communication systems to ensure fast responses to customers.
- A strong work ethic, creative ‘can-do’ attitude, and sense of urgency.
- Flexibility in work hours (nights, weekends, holidays, and major weather-related events).
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years of experience in Customer Delivery, Service Coordinator and/or Field Service industry in a direct support/subcontractor environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Subcontractor Management experience is desired
KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of one of these industries would be desirable: HVAC, UPS, DC Plant, Generators, Electrical Maintenance.
- Invoicing/ billing knowledge.
SKILLS:
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
