Service Sales Representative

Job Summary: Energy Systems is seeking a Service Sales Representative to be based out of Corona, CA. This position will report to the branch manager. This position will be responsible for increasing aftermarket parts and service business within their assigned territory. They will promote the company service and parts departments to increase sales in PM agreements, equipment repairs rental equipment, fuel tank remediation and generally promote Energy Systems as the primary source for aftermarket parts and service of power generation equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop sales proposals of generator products for customers and professionally present proposals to plant engineers, maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, and/or company executives
- Develop Aftermarket program proposals for the generator service department for customers and professionally present proposals to plant engineers, maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, and/or company executives
- Research and evaluate customer application and necessary aftermarket parts to properly size and/or develop an aftermarket recommendation that meets the customer’s needs
- Ensure the establishment of industry contacts and develop a list of potential customers
- Follow up on sales leads and make cold calls
- Maintain updated understanding of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations that effect target markets
- Proactively act to close sales and finalize contracts
- Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals
- Resolve customer’s problems with product and/or services
- Follow up on product deliveries
- Monitor and work within established expense allowance
- Generate detailed scope of supply (PMU) and provide to Application Engineer or Service Manager for processing

Minimal Qualifications:
Education
- Four-year college degree or equivalent industrial sales experience is required.
Work Experience
- 1 year cold call via phone and in person
- 1 year customer facing sales role that includes negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolution
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Well-developed sales and presentation skills
- Computer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong knowledge of Power Generation equipment
- Basic mechanical and technical aptitude including geometric and other mathematical formulas

Branch Manager

Job Summary: The Branch Manager is responsible for the operations and service group, including inside sales and the parts department for the territories covered by the branch they are assigned to. This includes management of workflow, cross departmental execution of duties, facilities, assets, implementation of the branches operating processes and procedures, fostering the West Coast Energy Systems customer focused culture. KPIs to include but not limited to customer satisfaction, territory profitability, revenue growth, operational efficiency as well as customer and employee retention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Select, coach, and develop the team within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Management of office personnel, facilities, and associated assets.
- Management of inside sales, service, and parts operations for branch locations within the assigned territory.
- Set objectives that align with company strategy.
- Ensure KPIs for revenue and operating income are met.
- Ensure work orders are completed, with proper documentation, on time and within quoted amounts and timeframes
- Oversee ERP system usage to ensure documentation and reporting is complete and accurate.
- Support development of processes and procedures that align with the financial and operational goals of the company
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of generator system technology, including competition products and strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:
- College 4-year degree, BS or equivalent in associated field
- 5 years of operations management experience (Industrial equipment or like Industry preferred)
- 5 years of management experience with direct reports (management of service operations and personnel preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Computer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Advanced knowledge of power generation parts and service industry including mechanical and technical aptitude
- Incorporate time management skills by prioritizing work assignments
- Proven interpersonal skills, including being a team player to create synergy within the company
- Must be able to operate forklift vehicle
- Must be able to handle high pressure situations

Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager develops and maintains an assigned Energy Systems sales territory. The Regional Sales Manager has the responsibility to develop and execute a territory management plan that can encompass reactive (bid market) and/or proactive (negotiated business) relationships to grow and achieve territory sales objectives. This role acts as the primary customer contact and territory owner; building and managing relationships, executing on new growth strategies and capturing market share.

Environmental Permitting Lead

Job Summary: The Environmental Permitting Specialist is responsible for independently developing and executing project air permitting applications for generators. In this role, you will be reviewing technical equipment specifications, analyzing permit-related regulatory and compliance requirements, and communicating internally within Energy Systems/Generac, with clients, and government agencies. The Environmental Permitting Specialist will support the environmental manager in evaluating and tracking regulatory policy developments, communicating regulatory standards to our equipment sales and engineering teams, and verifying equipment compliance with regulatory requirements for our customers. This position involves effective organization, time management, and communication. Generator air permits issued by local air districts are critical to protecting and maintaining air quality, developing energy resilience, and supporting growth and a healthy environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit air permit application packages and secure final permits in a timely manner.
- Effectively communicate with clients and regulators on the status of permit applications.
- Review and interpret highly technical data.
- Support environmental permitting manager with tracking and interpreting new rules and regulations, and effectively communicate regulatory requirements internally.
- Highly motivated to continue working in the air quality environmental field and expand knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge and experience with air quality permitting, as well as federal, state, and local air quality regulations, particularly with emergency engines.
- Proven record or desire to engage in successful regulatory work with the EPA, CARB, and local regulatory agencies.
- Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system.
